APOLLO PRAYER WALK APOLLO MIDDLE SCHOOL

Sunday, April 3rd, Antioch Bible classes go on the road to audaciously pray for God’s blessings to fall on the students and faculty of the Apollo Middle School. We will boldly pray for 1) their academic success (TCAP tests are the following week), 2) home situations, and 3) for God to use us to turn their hearts to Him.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
WHEN: We will begin promptly at 10AM and dismiss by 10:45AM.
WHERE: Meet in the school Gymnasium. Park at the main entrance & then follow the signs (& crowd) inside to the gymnasium. You can’t miss it.
HOW: Each Bible class (1st – 12th Grade and adult) will work as a prayer team to cover a specific portion of the school in prayer. During which time every child and faculty will be prayed for by name. Each group will be guided by a prayer leader. NOTE: We ask that parents of 1st-4th grade children walk with their children.
WHO: If you call Antioch Church of Christ your family, then we want you!
FAQs:
DO I HAVE TO WALK TO APOLLO? No. Feel free to drive and park at the main entrance.
WILL THE APOLLO STUDENTS BE PRESENT? No, but some of the faculty may.
WHAT IF I HAVE YOUNG KIDS? Nursery through Kindergarten classes will meet for class in their usual locations. Parents may drop their children off at class, attend the prayer walk, and retrieve their children from class following the walk.
THIS IS GREAT! BUT WHY ONLY PRAY OVER APOLLO? We have a particularly close relationship with the Apollo administration and we are Pencil Partners with the school. However, there may be opportunities to serve other area schools in the future.
WHAT WILL THE PRAYER WALK BE LIKE? Fun and energetic! While prayer is always serious, it shouldn’t always be somber. We are entering the school in Jesus’ victorious name. So, we will act like it!
DIRECTIONS:
From Antioch Church of Christ, exit the front parking lot and turn right. Go to Richards Road and turn right. The school will be past J E Moss Elementary School, on the right.
