Antioch supports missions in Central America including Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Honduras. Click the photos for information about each of these locations and the ministry of the local Church there. The missions team of Jim Taylor, Lisa Steele, Wayne Russell and Raquel Ramirez visited our missionaries in El Salvador and Nicaragua last summer. This summer, Lisa and Raquel visited Catacamas, Honduras, where a young girl we support, Lupita, lives. This summer, several of our teens and adults traveled to Ontario, Canada to help the Fennell Avenue Church of Christ host a Bible Day Camp. For more information about this ministry, click the photo (right)
Antioch members volunteer with the local Churches of Christ Disaster Relief to provide assistance to any major disaster in the continental United States by sending truckloads of emergency food, water, cleaning, and other supplies to disaster victims. In 2005, several of our teens and adults traveled to Juarez Mexico to build a house for a local family by participating in the Casas por Cristo program. In July 2007, we built two houses for families who lost their homes in the floods of 2006!

Antioch has a long-standing relationship with the church in Flores Magon and sends teams of teens and adults to partner with the congregation there in Vacation Bible School, ministry to the needy, and rennovation of the local church there. Several of our members just completed another trip over Spring Break to work with the Flores Magon Church!
Our Junior High students, accompanied by adult and intern chaperones, spend a portion of their summer at the Mid Ohio Valley WorkCamp, repairing and painting houses for people who are in need. They continued this tradition this summer by returning to the workcamp again followed up by a trip to King's Island.
