Pick up your Invitations and "Acts of Kindness" cards in the foyer at the Information Desk
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LOVE WEEK:
WHY: We want to share Jesus’ love through serving the Antioch Community
WHEN: Sunday, March 4—Sunday, March 11
WHERE: The Antioch Community
HOW: Go to "Projects" in the upper right corner of this page to see the Project Calendar. Sign up to participate in one or more of the 31 service projects.
WHO: There are projects for all ages! Order your Love Week t-shirt on the communication card in the bulletin or go by Love Week Cental in the lobby.
1. How many service projects can I do? As many as you like! Sign up with your Connection
Group and then check out other projects on our website. Let’s bless our community!
2. Can my kids participate? Yes! This is for all ages! Many projects are designed with families in mind.
3. Can I serve outside of Antioch? Of course you can! While our focus is our Antioch Community we
encourage you to serve wherever you live. Our "Acts of Kindness" cards are designed with this
in mind. Just remember to also sign up for a project in Antioch so our lights can shine in the community around our building.
4. How do we connect with people we meet while serving? We have made it easy for you to invite them to our Movie Night on March 10 and to Worship on March 11. Pick up the invite cards at Love Week
Central (the information desk) in the foyer before you go to your service project. When you meet folks, just had them a card and invite them! One-on-one connections make the strongest impact!
5. What is an "Act of Kindness" card? This business-sized card tells someone that God loves them
and invites them to Worship. It can be left with someone after you pay for their meal, carry their
groceries to the car, open a door for someone, or bring their newspaper to their front door. Pick some
up at Love Week Central!
6. Is there a way to share our experiences during Love Week? Go to the Stories link at the top of the page and share your experiences as well as read what others have posted. We will also be videotaping those who serve and are served during the week and share some on Celebration Sunday, March 11!
