“FaceSpace and TwitBook: What Every Parent Needs to Know about Technology and Their Child” will be presented by Walter Surdacki on Wednesday Aug 24 and Aug 31, at 7pm in the Auditorium. All adults are encouraged to attend; especially parents of elementary-high school students. He is a Professor of Youth and Family Ministry at Lipscomb University.
Technology is invading our lives at breakneck speeds and yet what is a parent to do? This class will give an overview of the technology that is affecting our lives. It will help you develop a theology that can enable you to successfully navigate the different pitfalls we find ourselves in when it comes to tech. You will also leave with tools that you as a parent can use to help your student use technology as an asset rather than as a liability in their lives. This is a great class for every parent.
